Wise words indeed and they are the phrases that echo through my head as I paint. They are the words of an exceptional teacher that I had the good fortune to come across 6 years ago. And so every day as I go into my studio I try and honour these words.
It is about finding fewer marks that say more whilst trying to ensure that my feelings feed my brushstroke.
I hope my paintings move you and I hope the emotions in my work are honest enough for you to understand exactly what it is I am trying to say.
